Mountain West Surgical Specialists proudly features the exceptional team of Dr. Jeremy Gates and Dr. Nathaniel Kaan. Dr. Gates, who completed his medical degree at Creighton University and surgical residency at Brooke Army Medical Center, brings extensive experience from his service as an Army General Surgeon, including two deployments to Afghanistan. Specializing in general and trauma surgery, he is particularly skilled in advanced techniques like robotic surgery, colon surgery, and hernia repair. Dr. Kaan, a proud Wyoming native and Emory University graduate, is committed to using evidence-based treatments and patient education to improve community health. Inspired by his father's legacy, Dr. Kaan combines his passion for medicine with a dedication to continuous learning and patient care.
